MY STORY

I spent most of my adult life living in my head suffering

from a very disordered relationship with my body and life in general.

In my 20’s and early 30’s I worked numerous demanding jobs that further perpetuated this unhealthy relationship to self and body and found myself using many self destructive methods of coping in an attempt to deal with daily life. It felt as if I was on a constant rollercoaster that was spiralling out of control moving further away from the truth of who I was and the life I desired to lead. This constant battle with my mental health and physical wellbeing was the catalyst that sent me on my quest to find answers and freedom.

My search led me to Sacred sites all over the planet. I met with Shamans in the Amazon, walked Pumas in the Bolivian jungle. Studied with Yogis in India and Spiritual Teachers in Bali.

A few years into my quest curiosity led me to India and to the practice of Yoga where I completed my first yoga teacher training. Yoga bought me back into my body for the first time in many years and finally I felt as if I was receiving some of the answers I had been tirelessly searching for. I dove into the practice of Yoga and In 2015 I began to teach. I enjoyed sharing the fruits of this beautiful ancient philosophy and practice with students and yet after a few years there was still a yearning for deeper healing that would enable me to connect on a more profound level of intimacy with myself and with others.

I returned to further my studies again in 2017 with Embodied Flow in Bali ( An integrative blend of Hatha Yoga, Somatics, Movement Meditations, Tantric Philosophy, and Transpersonal Psychology).

I then continued my internal explorations with Metavision Australia in 2019. I trained in a psychotherapeutic model call Process Work. Process Work is a holistic approach to psychotherapy. With the highest regard for the individuals process and a belief in the rightness of everything it goes beyond just treating symptoms and also takes into account the individuals life experiences and environment. It is a way of healing that focuses on the complexity of the living human being in a process of becoming

These teachings helped me to re direct my once desperate search outside, inwards. Assisting me as I began to peel back the layers that had been built up over a long period of time, they offered me a profound sense of connection and agency, that was the beginning of a remarkable journey back home to my true self.

“It is my deepest desire to share this knowledge and the tools that accompany it with my clients. So that they too through recognition of their own infinite potential and strengths can begin their own healing journey back home to health and wholeness.”
